Everytime I listen to Jungkook"s Begin, I can't help but wonder where it all started. How and why I began to Love #BTS . To be honest I was so addicted to Korean dramas. I did not listen to any kpop songs just ost songs from dramas like Boys over flowers. Of course my internet access was limited back then so the only way I could do so was to purchase endless numbers of dvds. My friends used to nickname me Ji hoo, the character name of Kim Hyun Joong. I was just addicted to the dramas.
My story changed when I went to college. I had unlimited access to wifi so which meant that I could watch 100s and 100s of dramas. One day, I was just lost on Youtube and i came across the comeback perfomance of MiC dRoP!. My jaw dropped and my wig was snatched. I was not introduced to BTS through someone, it was their talented that attracted me. I had to find out more about them.
It went from me trying to learn their names to actually chanting the fanchants in my dorm. Gone are the days when I used to confuse Jin and Jimin's names. So how did Jhope became my ultimate bias? It's a short story actually, He just made me inspired me. I love all members equally but Jhope has a different connection to me. And of course Jin wrecks my bias all the time. Now I have drowned into the fandom. The story goes on... will continue whenever I can
